It was a wonderful Christmas!

We had a great day celebrating Jesus' birthday. We all got everything we asked for and then some. I got a new flat screen TV, an 8" digital photo frame, clothes, a black pea coat, a Juicy Couture charm bracelet and some charms, as well as a Juicy purse with the money that my brother gave me. I also got a new Bible and lots more that I can't think of right now.

We had a great time together as a family. It was an exciting day. I hope all of you had a great day as well.

For the New Year I have decided not to make a year long resolution, but to make one every month. I figured I could stick to it this way. :)
So for January I will have NO FAST FOOD.
For February I will have NO SODAS.
And I will be thinking about the other months.
I am thinking maybe to scrapbook more, workout more, do laundry more often (LOL) so I don't get behind, and things like that.

Last night was a blast! I enjoyed some times with friends and family. I also enjoyed some wine and Patron shots. ;)

Here are two pictures from last night with one of my best friends, Amanda.

Another GREAT day.

One of my best friends and I exchanged Christmas gifts today.

She gave me this ADORABLE Juicy Couture chihuahua charm. I love it. I love it so much I almost cried. LOL She had me fooled too. It was in a HUGE box. I was so shocked when I opened it. :) She is a great friend.

I can't wait for Christmas! I feel like a kid again! HAHA

Rough night...

Tonight's been rough.
I miss my "Bubba" so much. The holidays are so hard without her. R.I.P. I love you and miss you more than you know.

Letter from Heaven
To my dearest family some things I'd like to say
But first of all to let you know that I arrived today,
I'm writing this from Heaven. Here I shall dwell with God above
Here, there's no more tears of sadness. Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through
God picked me up and hugged me and He said "I welcome you,
It's good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone,
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly, you are part of my plan
There's so much that we have to do to help our mortal man."
God gave me a fist of things that he wished for me to do
And foremost on the list was to watch and care for you
And when you lie in bed at night, the days chores put to flight
God and I are closest to you . . in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth and all those loving years
Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears
But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
1 wish that I could tell you all that God has planned
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand
But one thing is for certain though my life on earth is o'er
I'm closer to you now than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind
I'm walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind
And when it's time for you to go . . from that body to be free
Remember you're not going . . you're just coming here to me.

There are other things going on as well, but I won't going into detail. Let's just say it involves a guy, or an ASSHOLE. I am so sick of giving my all and being the best I can be and getting nothing in return. I don't expect much and I don't feel like I am asking for too much.
I am very thankful for the few TRUE friends I do have.
I thank God for them.

Just finished my 6th book...

I just finished After by Amy Efaw. It was a great book. It started out with a bang and didn't lose my interest. The ending was touching too. I would give it 5/5 stars. LOVED it! Kind of depressing at times, but eye-opening too. This book was 894 pages long on my iPad. Whew.

"Fifteen-year-old Devon Davenport lies on the sofa mindlessly watching morning TV. She is in physical pain, and her only recourse is to mentally disconnect. Suddenly her life turns upside down and she is left wondering what happened. Why is she being charged with attempted murder? Through a series of conversations with her court-appointed attorney, Devon begins to uncover deep-seated resentments and awaken to the fact that she had been pregnant, has given birth to a baby, and thrown the infant into a Dumpster. Devon begins as an unsympathetic character who grows, giving readers a better understanding of her choices. This is a skillfully written, emotionally raw story detailing one girl's difficult journey from denial of her circumstances to acceptance and redemption.—Sharon Morrison, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Durant, OK END"
Tonight I will begin reading my 7th book of the year.
Love you, Hate you, Miss you by Elizabeth Scott.
